It started as an idea
Shine Brown was the winning idea at the start-up challenge. Our idea was to make a tanning cream from the best ingredients we knew. We also wanted to make it smell crazy good and be effective. Our goal was to create a substance that helps you develop a beautiful brown tan as quickly as possible and without excessive sunbathing.
After a year, every single product created was sold out. Expansion was mandatory: we strategically opened four new markets and added six new products.
The products started to generate a lot of positive feedback and caught the eyes of 1000+ influencers who helped the brand expand even more. We also upgraded our brand look, from packaging to online presence, and perfected the structure of the formula. Our customers are our family and our SHINE BROWN BYROKKO is a brand for people who want to feel self-confident and beautiful.
From dreams to reality
With 30+ people working on the project, we had to expand our headquarters and warehouse capacity for the fourth time in three years. BYROKKO got recognition in magazines such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health and Elle. At the end of the season SELF-TAN LINE was launched.
BYROKKO is identified as one of the top tanning brands in the world with close to 1M users. We’ve also been featured in Forbes magazine. American market is opening while records are broken in Europe. We are creating a brand identity that will firmly cement our values. Launching the 14th product, we certainly have big ambitions for the future.
